La Sierra University’s Director of Vocal Studies, DR. RAEJIN LEE, was a guest lecturer for the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Los Angeles hosted at Chapman University.
Each year SongFest awards two full scholarships to NATSLA members in good standing. This year Raejin Lee was a recipient of one of the scholarships. During the Fall Symposium she provided a short presentation of her experiences at SongFest. She performed two Korean songs for the attendees in Bertea Hall at Chapman University.
In June of this year, Dr. Lee provided a lecture performance on “Korean Art Song Revisted: A Guide to Diction and Style” in Mayman Hall at the Colburn School sponsored by SongFest.
Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor, Director of Vocal Studies at La Sierra University in Riverside. She received her DMA in voice from Rutgers University in New Jersey, an Artist Diploma in Voice Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Ohio and her master and bachelor of music in voice performance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
